Who are you?
-Draw Near Designs is owned and run by two Orthodox Christian mothers, Caroline Gann and Marian Adams. Caroline converted to Orthodoxy in her 20’s, and Marian is cradle Orthodox. They both have the immense blessing of raising little ones, and strive to create products for Orthodox Christians that are edifying and educational. Our Shop now includes many products that we create ourselves, along with a wide variety from other Orthodox small businesses and artists.
How long as Draw Near Designs been in business?
-We started Draw Near Designs in 2017, and our very first product was the 2018 Orthodox Children’s Calendar. With God’s grace, we have been steadily growing since then!
Where can I find your products?
-The greatest selection of products is available on our website in the Shop section, but you can also find us on Etsy and in Orthodox bookstores worldwide.
Do you offer wholesale discounts?
-Absolutely! We love being able to help churches and bookstores make our products available to their parishioners. Please e-mail hello@drawneardesigns.com for a copy of our wholesale catalog and more details on how to place an order.
Which shipping method should I choose?
-Please select “First Class/Priority” unless your order is entirely books and/or calendars, in which case you can select “Media Mail.” Media Mail is slower, and USPS can (and will!) audit packages. If they find that the package includes items that do not qualify as media, they will hold it at the post office until the customers pays the difference between the cost of Media Mail and Priority. The customer is responsible for choosing the correct shipping service for their order, and any charges incurred from choosing the incorrect service. If the shipping charge ends up being noticeably higher than the actual cost of shipping, we will refund you the difference.
Do you ship internationally?
-We sure do! When you go to check out, there are a wide variety of countries available to select. If yours isn’t on there, please e-mail us at hello@drawneardesigns.com and we’ll be happy to add it for you.
Do you accept returns?
-Yes! You are welcome to return items from our shop within 30 days of its arrival. Please mail the item back to: Draw Near Designs 621 Rymer Way, Louisville, KY 40223 along with a note including your name and order number or printout of your original order. Once received, we will refund you through your original method of payment. If you are ever dissatisfied with an item or something arrives damaged, please reach out to us at hello@drawneardesigns.com and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue. (Exclusions to the return policy include the prayer ropes and digital downloads.)
Do you do custom work in illustration, graphic design, printing, etc?
-If you have a custom inquiry, you’re welcome to e-mail us at hello@drawneardesigns.com. We can’t accept many custom offers, but we will do our best to point you to someone who might be able to help!
Do you make custom Snuggly Saints dolls?
-No (with the only exception being a church or similar that is ordering 50+ of a new design, and even that is on a case by case basis). That being said, we release new dolls every few months, and if you have a suggestion of one that you would love or you think would be popular, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Who sews the Snuggly Saints dolls?
-The Snuggly Saint fabric is printed here in the USA. Once printed, we send it to a team of talented Orthodox seamstresses to sew the dolls for us. Each doll is made with care, and we’re grateful to be able to support other women who are using their talents for the glory of God!
Are your mugs dishwasher and microwave safe?
-The vast majority are! Care and handling instructions are included in the listing.
