St. Patrick Snuggly Saint Doll

from $5.00

St. Patrick’s exciting life journey began when he was just fifteen as he was kidnapped by pirates and taken to Ireland. Here, he was sold as a slave and worked herding pigs for years. All the time, he was praying for a way back to his homeland in Britain. God granted Patrick a vision of escape and he rushed down to the docks and boarded a ship to Britain.

Once he reunited with his family and returned to a more peaceful life, he decided to become a priest. He was eventually made bishop and was also able to travel back to Ireland with the purpose of spreading the Gospel here in this land. He used the shamrock to illustrate the beauty of the Trinity - God in three persons. Because of his heart for the Irish people, he was able to share God’s love with many in Ireland. We celebrate St. Patrick on March 17 (NC) or March 30 (OC).
